Louws Truss has an opening for a Loader/Forklift Operator at our Cashmere location on the Swing Shift.  The primary responsibilities for this position will be moving finished product around, loading trucks/trailers, as well as other duties.  The ideal candidate for this position has previous forklift/ equipment experience, has a clean driving record, is able to communicate effectively with others, work in a team setting, is able to lift up to 50+ lbs. and has a “can-do” attitude.  This position works primarily outside in the elements year-round.

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday. 

Training for this position will be on the day shift: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (or later).
Once trained this position will transition into the Swing Shift: 12 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (or later)(* start time may vary depending on weather conditions)

Wage for this position $20-$22 per hour D.O.E. with possible increase upon a successful 90-day review.

• Pilot Escort (will train)
• Load trucks/trailers
• Moving Finished Product
• Organizing/staging for the next day
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

• 1-2 Years previous forklift/equipment experience– Preferred
• Be self-motivated
• Able to work in a team environment
• Have attention to detail
• Able to multi task
• Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record - Required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and/or move to 50 +lbs.
• Be Able to Work in weather elements year round
• Able to sit for long periods of time while on the Forklift
